The schedule is 13.5-hour shifts, 08:30 to 22:00. This is a temporary assignment for an experienced CRNA at Huntsville Hospital, offered at $225 per hour, with no other differentials or sign-on bonuses applying. The CRNA provides anesthesia care to patients of all acuity levels and ages across surgical, obstetrical, diagnostic, therapeutic, and pain management procedures.

The assignment runs six months and is a W-2 employee position on a PRN basis, though full-time hours are required. Successful candidates are considered employees for at least six months. The listing notes that no health insurance or benefits, disability or life insurance, ETO accrual, or 401(k) match are provided under this assignment.

Candidates must hold an active registered nurse license in Alabama or under the nurse licensure compact, follow state rules governing CRNAs, and be graduates of a nurse anesthesia program accredited by the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs or its predecessor. Current certification or recertification by the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists is required, along with approval from the Huntsville Hospital credentialing board and demonstrated current clinical competency.

Required credentials include ACLS, BLS, and PALS from the American Heart Association. The role calls for the ability to operate and interpret a wide range of anesthesia and operating room equipment, communicate clearly with clinical teams, understand age-specific patient needs, apply infection prevention practices, keep records confidential, and follow facility policies.

Huntsville Hospital, Huntsville Hospital for Women & Children, and Madison Hospital are locally governed, nonprofit facilities in Madison County, with 971 licensed beds across the three. The main campus is the region's primary referral center and houses a Level I Trauma Center and a Level III Regional Neonatal ICU. Staff have access to continuing education, shared governance, a clinical ladder, a nurse residency program, tuition assistance, child care, and wellness resources.
