The schedule is 24-hour shifts. The role is a full-time certified registered nurse anesthetist position on the obstetrics anesthesia team at San Joaquin General Hospital in French Camp, California.

The schedule calls for a set number of monthly shifts and includes a high volume of deliveries, roughly 180 a month, with one to two cesarean sections most days. The overall cesarean rate is listed at 29 percent and the primary cesarean rate at 13 percent. The position requires someone comfortable working independently and experienced with high-risk obstetrics, with four or more years in that area preferred.

Qualifications include board certification, an active state license, and a DEA registration, along with ACLS, PALS, and BLS credentials. The French Camp location sits just south of Stockton, about 50 miles from Sacramento and 80 miles from San Francisco, with access to Napa Valley, Lake Tahoe, Yosemite, and the Sierra Nevada.
