Full details

This locum assignment is for a supervised CRNA who will work alongside an anesthesiologist and cover all surgeries at the site, which runs more than 24 operating rooms and is very busy. Pediatric volume is modest, and there is no option for a pediatric-only CRNA role. Cases include heads and healthy pediatric patients, along with mitral clip and Watchman procedures, but open heart cases and obstetrics are not part of the role. Patients of all ages are covered, in both inpatient and outpatient settings.

The schedule is Monday through Friday during clinical hours only, with no call, nights, or weekends. Shifts are either 5-8 or 4-10 hour blocks, with overtime applied after 40 hours in a week. Candidates need full-time availability, with the site asking for three to four weeks a month, and experience working these shift patterns. Lunches are not covered, and no stipends are offered. The hourly cap is $305 and is not negotiable.

Candidates must hold an active PA license and certification, as board certification is required. Temporary privileges are not granted. Anesthesia technicians and SCAs provide support in the operating rooms. The assignment is expected to run from May 2026 on an ongoing basis. Travel and lodging are provided, as is malpractice insurance, and the PA license requirement is negotiable as stated.
