Full details
This permanent CRNA position is based in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Weekend call is assigned quarterly and rotates among Friday, Saturday, and Sunday shifts, split between primary and secondary backup roles. Staff whose weeks surround their paid time off are excluded from weekend call that period. Weekday call averages one Monday-through-Thursday overnight shift, from 7 PM to 7 AM, about once every six weeks.
Shifts are scheduled in mixed lengths of 8, 10, 12, 16, and 24 hours. The hospital is a Level 2 trauma center with 16 operating rooms, 4 endoscopy suites, 2 obstetric operating rooms, and 5 NORA sites. Cases span a broad range of general and complex surgery, including kidney transplant, thoracic, orthopedic and trauma, bariatric, podiatry, gynecologic, neuro, ENT, MRI and CT anesthesia, heart and vascular, obstetric, and regional blocks.
The team describes its providers as professional, confident, and friendly. Experience is preferred, though new graduates are also considered. The practice does not accept locum tenens providers.
Compensation is listed as $112.75 per hour, with a $30,000 sign-on bonus tied to a three-year work commitment and relocation assistance. The full-time benefit package includes malpractice insurance with tail coverage, support for CME funds, licensure, and professional memberships, and a 403(b) plan with an employer contribution and match.
