Full details

This permanent CRNA position in Coos Bay, Oregon, at a level III trauma site run by a health district, is offered on a full-time basis (80 hours per pay period) or part-time basis (48 hours per pay period), with shifts assigned and discussed at interview. The CRNA works fully independently within Oregon statutes, regulations and the district's policies, alongside a collaborative group of physicians and CRNAs.

Anesthesia coverage spans seven operating rooms along with endoscopy, the cath lab and a nearby ambulatory surgery center. Cases include nearly everything except head and heart procedures, with healthy pediatric patients only, and all types of nerve blocks are performed. Call is paid and shared equitably with a day off after call, and weekends are shared among the group.

Candidates must hold board certification as a CRNA and an Oregon license or be willing to obtain one, and must have at least one year of experience working as a CRNA. New graduates and locum tenens candidates are not being considered. Applicants must live within the immediate local area, though relocation may be required, and the employer asks whether the candidate has ties to Oregon.

Compensation includes relocation help where applicable, a benefits package with a 6% retirement match, generous paid time off, a continuing education allowance, and an allowance for licensing and professional fees. Interview travel expenses are paid. Onsite amenities include an employee health and wellness clinic and a child care and learning center.
