Full details

This per diem CRNA opening is based at the Emerge Ortho surgery center in New Brunswick, part of a North Carolina orthopedic group formed in 2016 when four leading practices combined. The group operates 45 outpatient offices across 21 counties and describes its approach as patient-centered, with a care team model that gives every person a voice.

The Brunswick location is a full-service facility providing advanced orthopedic and spine care, interventional pain management, diagnostic imaging, and therapy services under one roof. Anesthesia coverage spans a broad case mix, including general orthopedics, joint replacement in the hip, knee, and shoulder, sports medicine, hand and upper extremity work, foot and ankle, neck and back procedures, and interventional pain management. The practice notes that regional anesthesia experience is a plus and that the role carries considerable independence.

Responsibilities include delivering comprehensive anesthesia care across surgical cases, completing pre-anesthesia assessments and securing informed consent, and developing anesthetic plans in discussion with patients. The CRNA would manage induction, maintenance, and emergence, monitor physiological status and intervene as needed, and contribute to departmental coordination and clinical leadership.

Candidates need a current registered professional nursing license, graduation from an accredited nurse anesthesia program, and certification or recertification through the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists. The compensation is listed at $185 per hour with a guarantee, and malpractice insurance coverage is fully paid.
