This 1099 opening is with a clinician-led, physician-owned anesthesia group that offers independent practice, a full-scope role, and a varied case mix at a highly rated academic medical center in Stockton, CA. Pay is listed by experience: $200 per hour for those with five years, $195 per hour for two to five years, and $190 per hour for zero to two years.

The practice runs an 8-room main OR along with a cath lab and endoscopy suite at a 355-bed hospital that handles about 14,300 cases a year across general, colorectal, orthopedic, spine, thoracic, cardiac, vascular, OB/GYN, plastics, ENT, and podiatry procedures. Scheduling is flexible and includes call options, and providers working in-house receive time off after call.

CRNAs in this role have full autonomy, including regional anesthesia, arterial lines, and central lines. The department includes 14 physicians, more than 30 independent CRNAs, and a residency program, and covers up to 19 anesthetizing locations each day, including obstetrics with roughly 3,000 births annually.

The group is seeking full-time and part-time CRNAs, whether experienced or newly graduated, who want to work independently in a collaborative academic setting. Coverage extends across the hospital and its affiliated surgery center.
