A California facility is looking for an anesthetist for a 60-day assignment beginning August 31, 2026. The core work is Saturday coverage in 8-hour blocks across multiple specialties, with the option to extend into weekday, weeknight, and longer PRN shifts.
The provider would deliver anesthesia care across a range of surgical cases spread over 12 main operating rooms and 3 rooms at an offsite ambulatory surgical center. Case types include spine, neuro, orthopedic, and general surgery. Possible shift windows are 1100-1900, 1100-2100, 1100-2300, or 1300-2300.
Trauma, obstetric, pediatric cases for patients under two years old, and cardiac procedures are excluded from this role. Board certification in anesthesiology is required, and the facility runs Epic as its electronic medical record system.
