This CRNA role in Southern Indiana is based at a small community hospital roughly an hour from Cincinnati and Louisville. The practice model is independent and covers a single hospital, making it a good fit for a CRNA looking to move into independent practice. The facility has six operating rooms and a broad mix of cases, including general, gynecology, obstetrics, bariatrics, spine, orthopedics, urology, and ENT. Duties include independent anesthesia care, regional blocks, and spinal and epidural procedures. Major trauma cases are transferred elsewhere, and cardiac and gynecologic oncology cases are not performed on site.

Call and backup call are scheduled at a ratio of 1 to 6, with a 30-minute callback window. The provider would work alongside an anesthesiologist and surgeons with whom the relationship is described as good.

Compensation starts at a base salary of $190,000 to $205,000, with a $25,000 sign-on bonus. Benefits include a 401(k) with employer matching, relocation assistance, and seven weeks of vacation. The hospital pays for malpractice coverage and licensure, and it provides paid time and funds for continuing medical education.
