A full-time permanent CRNA position is open at a community-focused general hospital in Maine, a healthcare partner of VISTA. The schedule runs Monday through Friday with no call. The anesthesia team is looking for a skilled, caring nurse anesthetist to deliver care across pre-operative, operative, and post-operative stages for patients undergoing a broad range of procedures.

Responsibilities include administering and managing anesthesia for many kinds of surgical and medical procedures while keeping patients safe and comfortable. The hospital uses Meditech as its electronic medical record. Anesthesia is provided in three operating room suites, an endoscopy suite, and an obstetrics unit, covering general surgery, orthopedics, podiatry, OB/GYN, and children over two years old. Experience with endoscopies and labor epidurals is considered a plus.

Candidates must hold current certification as a CRNA from the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists and must be licensed to practice as a CRNA in Maine by the start date. A master's degree in nurse anesthesia or an equivalent program is required.
