Full details

A nine-hospital healthcare system in eastern North Carolina is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist to join its anesthesia team near Greenville. Candidates must hold current certification as a registered nurse anesthetist or show evidence of having applied to sit for the CRNA boards. The role involves providing patient care both within the anesthesia team and independently, across inpatient and outpatient clinical settings. The established program includes three anesthesiologists and six CRNAs.

The schedule runs Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, following a pattern of three weeks on and one week off, which yields 13 weeks off each year. Designated sick time is provided. Call is shared with other CRNAs, one day per week and one weekend per month, and CRNAs serve as primary call for routine epidurals. The case mix includes general surgery, orthopedic surgery, and obstetrics and gynecology, with an average of 230 surgical cases per month. Moonlighting opportunities are available, and the practice uses the Epic electronic health record.

The position is salaried and offers competitive compensation that was recently updated, a relocation stipend, and a sign-on bonus. The area is a growing community in eastern North Carolina with a historic district, a town common, and a mild climate that suits year-round outdoor activities such as boating, fishing, hiking, and golf. Greenville sits about 30 minutes from the site, roughly an hour from Raleigh and the Research Triangle Park, and a little over an hour from the Crystal Coast beaches. East Carolina University is located there, and the city has a cost of living below the national average and ongoing downtown revitalization.
