Full details
This is a 100-day locum tenens assignment in Arizona, with a start date of October 12, 2026. The anesthetist would deliver anesthesia care across a varied caseload that includes general surgery, obstetrics and gynecology, gastrointestinal procedures, and orthopedics. Work is centered in two main operating rooms at an inpatient facility, with occasional Cath Lab cases, and cardiac and neurosurgical cases are excluded from the role.
The weekday schedule runs Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM. A rotating weekend commitment occurs once every four weeks. The provider would also take part in an on-call rotation that combines float weeks with call duty. Off-site beeper call covers weekdays from 3:00 PM to 7:00 AM and continuous 24-hour coverage applies to weekends and holidays, with hourly callbacks when called in. The rotation follows a pattern of two weeks off call, then a third week serving as float and taking call. A minimum of 10 to 20 shifts per month is expected. The facility uses Epic as its EMR.
Compensation is described as strong, travel-related expenses are covered, and A-rated medical malpractice insurance is provided. The agency also notes a dedicated recruiter is available for future travel assignments.
