Full details
A facility is looking for a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist to provide locum tenens coverage while it works to fill a current staffing need. The regular schedule runs Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., with an overnight call period from 3 p.m. to 7 a.m. that covers obstetrics.
The anesthetist would handle a broad case mix that includes endoscopies, obstetrics, gynecology, pediatrics, urology, ENT, general, oral, orthopedic, vascular, trauma, and ophthalmology procedures. Proficiency in spinal, nerve block, and epidural techniques is required. The site uses Epic for its electronic medical records, and the care team model is 3 to 1, with some cases performed independently.
Credentialing takes roughly 90 to 120 days, and a valid license is required for the position.
