Full details
A facility is looking for a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist to provide locum tenens coverage while it works to fill a current need. The schedule runs Monday through Thursday from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, with a weekend call rotation. Room time is 0715, and anesthesia staff typically arrive between 0630 and 0645.
The caseload is mostly outpatient surgical and endoscopic procedures, with some obstetric work including labor epidurals and cesarean sections. Routine cases span orthopedics, endoscopy, general surgery, urology, and ENT. Nerve block experience is helpful but not required, while the ability to perform obstetric labor epidurals and cesarean sections with spinal anesthesia is required.
Candidates should have hands-on experience with spinals, epidurals, venous catheters, and arterial catheters. The facility uses Epic for its electronic medical records. Credentialing takes about 30 days, and an active Michigan license is required.
