An established outpatient surgery center in Virginia is seeking an experienced Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist for an ongoing locum tenens assignment. The role is pitched to CRNAs who want stronger earnings, more schedule flexibility, and better balance between work and life.
The position is full-time on a weekday daytime pattern, Monday through Friday, with no call duties. Compensation is described as competitive locum pay rates. The charting system used is HST.
Responsibilities include providing anesthesia in a fast-paced outpatient surgical setting, working independently without supervision by an anesthesiologist, and handling general surgery and healthy pediatric cases. The provider would also deliver efficient, high-quality care and coordinate with the surgical team to support good patient outcomes.
Candidates need active CRNA certification and are comfortable practicing on their own. Prior experience in outpatient surgery centers is preferred, as is proficiency with general surgery and healthy pediatric patients. Applicants should be able to start as soon as possible.
