This permanent CRNA position is located in Barretts, Maine, in the northern part of the state, an area known for four distinct seasons and easy access to ski trails and remote wilderness. The hospital is smaller and the team is collegial, and CRNAs are given considerable flexibility and autonomy in their work.

The role centers on regional anesthesia, including Bier blocks, epidural and peripheral nerve blocks, and central line placement. The practice is described as mostly bread-and-butter cases alongside a heavy volume of regional work.
