Full details

UPMC in Central Pennsylvania is recruiting a CRNA for its Harrisburg location. The role offers self-scheduling with flexible shifts of 8, 10, 12, or 24 hours, and the provider would join a varied surgical team covering neurosurgery, vascular, thoracic, orthopedic, obstetric, cardiac, general, GI, and colon and rectal procedures. The practice uses EPIC EMR and Fabias GS technology.

Qualified candidates are graduates of an accredited CRNA program who can obtain a Pennsylvania license and the required federal and state narcotics certificates. The employer wants someone committed to compassionate, high-quality care who is comfortable with a broad range of cases. Experienced clinicians and new graduates are both welcome to apply.

Compensation is listed as a salary range of $230k to $346k, with up to a $100k sign-on bonus and an employer-funded retirement plan. Other perks include loan forgiveness, extra pay for overtime and additional shifts, annual merit raises, and a career ladder designed for CRNAs.

Time off includes paid time off, paid holidays, and a one-time PTO advance of 40, 80, or 120 hours upon hire. Paid parental leave, adoption assistance, and relocation help are also provided. Professional dues and Pennsylvania license renewal are reimbursed, along with a $2000 yearly education-specific CME allowance.

Malpractice coverage is occurrence-based. Retirement options include a defined contribution plan, a 403(b) with employer match, and a UPMC-funded cash balance plan.

UPMC Harrisburg holds a five-star Overall Hospital Quality Star Rating from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services for 2024, one of only 38 hospitals nationwide to earn it. The wider system serves more than 1.2 million residents each year. The South Central Pennsylvania area is noted for its manufacturing, science, agriculture, and technology economy, a low cost of living, nearby attractions such as Gettysburg and the Appalachian Trail, and highly ranked schools.
