The Chief CRNA is responsible for building a plan that addresses the quality, cost, and outcomes of patient care, and for guiding the care team in line with a shared philosophy of patient care. The role includes providing hands-on clinical care, serving as a model and resource for staff in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care, and setting realistic goals for CRNAs in collaboration with the wider care team.
