This is a per diem opening for a CRNA with UPMC Western Maryland in Cumberland, Maryland, offering flexible scheduling and a varied case mix. The hospital is a voluntary nonprofit acute care, short-term facility with 240 Medicare-certified beds, located in the historic downtown area and part of the Western Maryland Health System.

The role involves providing full anesthesia care across a range of surgical procedures. The CRNA would conduct pre-anesthesia assessments, obtain informed consent, and design and review anesthetic plans with patients. Responsibilities also include managing induction, maintenance and emergence, watching patients' physiological status and intervening as necessary, and contributing to departmental coordination and clinical leadership.

Candidates need a current registered professional nurse license, graduation from an accredited nurse anesthesia program, and certification or recertification by the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists.

Pay is listed at $140 per hour for W2 per diem work and $145 per hour for 1099 per diem work.
