Blue Ridge Surgery Center in Raleigh, North Carolina is hiring CRNAs for immediate openings at its ambulatory surgery center, which has eight beds and a fast-paced, flexible setting. The center opened in 1985 on Blue Ridge Road with four operating rooms and has since expanded to six operating rooms and two procedure rooms across 13,000 square feet, with a staff of 80. It is accredited by The Joint Commission and was among the 89 Surgical Care Affiliates centers named to Newsweek's 2022 list of Best Ambulatory Surgery Centers.

The CRNA would cover a full range of outpatient anesthesia cases, including orthopedics, cataracts, retinas, ENT, pediatrics, and GYN. Duties include pre-anesthesia assessment, verifying patient consent, reviewing anesthetic options and risks with patients, managing induction, maintenance, and emergence, monitoring physiological status, and performing clinical interventions as needed.

The position carries no call and no weekend or holiday work. Candidates need a current registered professional nurse license, graduation from an accredited nurse anesthesia program, and AANA certification or recertification. The provider must supply Articles of Incorporation for an S or C corporation and carry their own malpractice coverage at full state limits.

The listed pay is $175 per hour.
