A full-time CRNA position is open at Jefferson Memorial Hospital in Jefferson City, Tennessee. The compensation package includes a base salary of $240,000 with a $10,000 quality bonus, an anticipated $54,200 in call compensation, and an annual total stated as $304,200. Continuing medical education reimbursement, ten weeks of paid time off, and health, dental, and vision premiums fully covered for the employee are also offered, along with a 401(k) plan. The practice is a CRNA-only model, and professional liability coverage is provided by LifeLinc Anesthesia.

The hospital, which serves the Lakeway area, opened its Jefferson City campus in 2001 and completed a major expansion in 2011 that added a new intensive care unit and enlarged the emergency room. The anesthesia cases are mainly general, orthopedic, ENT, and pediatric, with no obstetrics. The weekday schedule runs from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday through Friday, with a 1-in-5 call rotation.

The CRNA works as a collaborator and team member, develops standards for continuity of care and case management, and keeps current with AANA and local, state, and federal regulations. Clinical work includes pre-anesthetic assessments, documentation, ordering consultations and diagnostic studies, selecting and giving pre-anesthetic medications and fluids, and obtaining informed consent. The role also covers airway management, emergence and recovery, post-anesthesia discharge and follow-up, and emergency response using advanced or basic cardiac life support. Candidates should have at least two years of independent practice experience and current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certification.
