This as-needed position at Baptist Memorial Hospital – Leake in Carthage, Mississippi is offered through LifeLinc Anesthesia and seeks an experienced CRNA. The schedule runs weekdays from 7:00 am to 3:00 pm with no call, and the rate is listed at $145 per hour.

The hospital is a community facility delivering outpatient and inpatient surgical care within a supportive, team-based setting. The CRNA would work alongside surgeons and nurses, handling a steady caseload in a close-knit environment where workflows are streamlined.

Duties include completing and documenting pre-anesthetic evaluations, ordering pre-anesthetic medications and fluids, and securing informed consent. The CRNA would manage airways, oversee emergence and recovery, discharge patients from the post-anesthesia area, follow up on complications, and respond to emergencies using advanced or basic life support. The role also calls for helping develop continuity-of-care standards and staying current with AANA and local, state, and federal regulations.

Candidates need a degree from an approved nursing school and completion of a nurse anesthesia program accredited by the AANA's Council on Accreditation, plus certification through the AANA Council on Certification or its predecessor. ACLS, BLS, and PALS credentials are also required.
