The role is at Seton Medical Center in Harker Heights, Texas, and is offered as a 1099 position with compensation listed at $390(k), built from a $350(k) base plus $700 for any weekday call shift and $1,200 for any weekend call shift. The position includes 8 weeks off and a sign-on bonus.

The case mix centers on routine general surgery, plastics, orthopedics, endoscopy/GI, gynecology, urology, and ENT. Obstetrics, cardiac, and complex neuro cases are not part of the work. Regional anesthesia skill is preferred, though the practice will train a CRNA who is not yet proficient. The practice is CRNA-only, with seven CRNAs on site each day.

Call follows a 1:7 ratio, and the call-back time is 30 to 40 minutes from the hospital. Malpractice insurance and tail coverage are provided. Applicants should be board certified.
