Valley Children's Specialty Medical Group is looking for a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist to join its collaborative anesthesia team. The position is based in a fully pediatric setting in California's Central Valley, where the practice is known for its strong quality of life.
The employer describes its organization as one of the largest pediatric healthcare networks in the country, providing tertiary care to children across Central California. The freestanding children's hospital has 358 beds and is ranked among the nation's best by U.S. News & World Report. The practice performs roughly 16,000 anesthetics each year across all surgical service lines except burns and transplants, and the medical direction model is 2:1. Cases range from routine to complex pediatric procedures.
CRNAs work alongside pediatric anesthesiologists, other CRNAs, advanced practice providers, and subspecialty surgeons. The group emphasizes collaboration, mentorship, shared clinical decision-making, safety, communication, and professional development.
Candidates need an active or eligible California CRNA license, an active California RN license, and ACLS and PALS certifications, along with a commitment to patient-centered pediatric care. New graduates are welcome to apply.
The starting salary is listed as $325,000 per year. Compensation also includes a competitive salary, a sign-on bonus, relocation assistance, comprehensive health, dental, and vision coverage, generous retirement contributions, a CME allowance, and employer-paid malpractice coverage. The position is exempt and the listed daily schedule is 10 hours.
The city of Madera offers a lower cost of living, light traffic, well-regarded schools, and family-friendly neighborhoods. It is near Fresno Yosemite International Airport and within reach of Yosemite, Sequoia, and Kings Canyon National Parks, and it is also convenient to San Francisco, Los Angeles, and the Central Coast.
