Cumberland Valley Surgery Center, a same-day multispecialty surgery facility in the Hagerstown area, is seeking a per diem CRNA. The center has one operating room equipped for general anesthesia, two treatment rooms set up for local and monitored anesthesia care, one preoperative area, and one post-anesthesia care area.

The center handles cases in pain management, orthopedic surgery, general surgery, dental and oral surgery, gynecology, plastic and reconstructive surgery, podiatry, and endoscopy. The CRNA would deliver anesthesia care across these procedures, complete pre-anesthesia evaluations, obtain informed consent, and discuss anesthetic plans with patients. Other duties include managing induction, maintenance, and emergence, monitoring patients' physiological status and intervening as needed, and supporting departmental coordination and clinical leadership.

Candidates need a current registered professional nursing license, graduation from an accredited nurse anesthesia program, and certification or recertification through the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists.

Pay is listed at $230 per hour for W2 employment, with paid medical malpractice coverage, or $235 per hour for 1099 contractors, who must supply their own malpractice coverage.
