Full details

This full-time day-shift CRNA position in anesthesiology may qualify for a $9,000 sign-on bonus if eligibility requirements are met. The CRNA would deliver full-scope anesthesia care, including general anesthesia, procedural sedation, and regional techniques, working alongside a medically directed anesthesiologist who is directly available throughout each case. Care spans patients from neonates through older adults, with an individualized anesthetic plan set before induction. The role is performed at LLUMC and its affiliated sites, and may also cover the LLUCH hospital.

The CRNA would communicate clearly throughout each anesthetic, apply current theory to bedside practice, and keep building clinical skill with an anesthesia focus. Work is expected within CRNA scope of practice and in line with hospital policies, protocols, and state and federal rules, with independent judgment exercised in whole-person care. Other duties may be assigned as needed.

Candidates need graduation from an accredited nursing program and from an accredited nurse anesthesia school. Recent anesthesia experience as a CRNA or student nurse anesthetist within the past twelve months is preferred. Proficiency in English is required, and Spanish is a plus. The position calls for strong organization, attention to detail, calm performance under pressure, and the ability to teach and supervise.

Required credentials include a valid California registered nurse license, a valid California nurse anesthetist certificate, and current NBCRNA certification. The CRNA must also hold current American Heart Association BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications. Physical abilities include reading screens and records, hearing for conversation, distinguishing colors and smells, and sensing temperature through touch.
