The schedule is 8-hour shifts. The facility needs a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist for locum tenens coverage to meet a current gap in staffing. The role is Monday through Thursday, with Friday possible, and cases occasionally run past the usual end of the day. There is no call and no weekend work.

The caseload is limited to eye and ear procedures, including cataract, cornea, glaucoma, LASIK, pediatric eye, and ear, nose and throat cases. Candidates must be comfortable caring for pediatric patients. The practice is independent, so the CRNA works alone without a care team or set ratio, and charting is done on paper rather than in an electronic medical record.

Credentialing is expected to take up to 30 days. An active Pennsylvania license is required, or the candidate must be willing to obtain one.
