This is a full-time locum tenens opening for a CRNA in Pittsburgh, PA, with no call required. Coverage is expected to begin in early 2027, and candidates willing to take roughly two weeks per month may also be considered.
The role runs Monday through Friday, and the site sets the exact shift pattern from a menu of options, so the successful candidate must be flexible about when they are scheduled. Competitive pay is offered, and malpractice coverage is provided if needed.
The practice uses a care team model in a fast-paced operating room environment that emphasizes quick turnovers. Cases span general surgery, orthopedics, ENT, and neurosurgery, including craniotomies, along with Level 1 trauma, thoracic, open-heart cardiac, vascular, urology, transplant, electrophysiology, and GI procedures, plus pediatric work for otherwise healthy young patients such as tongue-tie and tonsil cases. The candidate must be comfortable handling every one of these case types.
