Full details
A staffing partner is recruiting per diem Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists to work within its anesthesia practice at Penn State Health Lancaster Medical Center. The facility opened in the summer of 2022 as a new acute care hospital, giving residents of Lancaster and York counties access to Penn State Health's specialty services closer to home rather than requiring a trip to Hershey.
Providers in this role deliver full anesthesia care across a range of surgical cases, beginning with pre-anesthesia evaluations, informed consent, and collaborative development of anesthetic plans. They manage induction, maintenance, and emergence, monitor each patient's physiological status, and intervene as needed, while also supporting departmental coordination and clinical leadership.
The caseload is varied and includes orthopedics, healthy pediatrics, light obstetrics, urology, neurology, general surgery, GI, TEE, and EP lab. Scheduling is flexible, with several options available.
Compensation is listed at $175 per hour. Applicants need a current registered professional nursing license, graduation from an accredited nurse anesthesia program, and certification or recertification through the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists.
