Full details

The position is a full-time CRNA role at Turkey Creek Medical Center in Knoxville, Tennessee, which is part of Tennova Healthcare, one of the state's largest health networks. The hospital campus includes a 24/7 emergency department, an intensive care unit, advanced surgical suites, and a dedicated heart hospital. A newly opened surgery center, connected to the medical center, adds four fully equipped operating rooms and two advanced endoscopy suites.

The practice works within a collaborative care-team model. Anesthesia cases span general surgery, gastrointestinal procedures, cardiac work, eye surgery, and straightforward pediatric cases. The nurse anesthetist would perform pre-anesthesia assessments, secure informed consent, and design anesthetic plans in discussion with patients. Responsibilities also cover running induction, maintenance, and emergence, watching each patient's physiological status and intervening as required, and contributing to departmental coordination and clinical leadership.

Candidates need a current registered professional nursing license, a degree from an accredited nurse anesthesia program, and current certification or recertification through the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists.

Compensation is listed as a salary of $240K-$250K per year, along with a $75K sign-on incentive. The package also offers medical, life, vision, dental, disability, and AD&D coverage, generous time off, flexible spending and health savings accounts, fully paid malpractice coverage, and available loan repayment and training assistance.
