Full details
This full-time, employed CRNA role sits within an all-CRNA anesthesia team at a hospital in Oregon that emphasizes autonomy, teamwork, and quality of care. CRNAs work without supervision or micromanagement and practice to the full extent of their licensure. The team is collegial, with nine CRNAs, many of whom have been there for a long time, and leadership is described as supportive. The hospital's ten operating rooms support a varied caseload that includes general, orthopedic, OB/GYN, ENT, and endoscopy procedures, along with nerve blocks, epidurals, and central lines.
The schedule runs Monday through Friday from 7 AM to 5 PM. Call is light at a 1:10 ratio, roughly 29 nights and 5 to 6 weekends per year, and a day off follows each call shift. An on-call apartment is provided, along with free meals and drinks.
Pay is listed as a $385K base, plus a 5% quality bonus and incentives, for a potential $400K+. A $50K sign-on bonus is offered, along with a $4,500 CME allowance, payment of all dues and licenses, and a relocation allowance. Employer-paid medical, dental, and vision premiums are included, as are 403(b) and 457 retirement plans with an employer match. Paid time off totals 12 weeks, usable for rest, travel, or continuing education.
The community is described as affordable and set near the Columbia River, with mountains and vineyards nearby, and it offers year-round outdoor recreation. The area has no state sales tax, excellent public schools, four universities within 45 minutes, a regional airport about 40 minutes away, and close access to major Northwest cities and Washington's wine country.
