Memorial Health is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist to take on an on-site role. The CRNA evaluates patients, builds individualized anesthesia plans, delivers anesthesia, watches patients throughout procedures, and oversees recovery. The aim is safe, effective, and compassionate care that meets high clinical standards.
Core duties include completing pre-anesthesia evaluations with history, physical exam, and review of diagnostic findings; creating and carrying out anesthesia plans suited to each patient and operation; and providing general, regional, and monitored anesthesia across different clinical areas. The CRNA tracks vital signs, anesthetic depth, and overall physiology during cases, responds to emergencies with airway management, resuscitation, and critical care support, and ensures patients wake safely while managing post-anesthesia pain. The role also involves working alongside surgeons, anesthesiologists, nurses, and other clinicians, explaining procedures, risks, and recovery to patients and families, and keeping precise, timely charts.
Candidates must hold current CRNA certification. A master's degree is preferred, and anyone new to the field must obtain certification as soon as possible. Strong verbal and written communication is required. The work may involve frequent contact with blood and body fluids, and the position calls for standing, walking, lifting help for patients, fine hand control for preparing medications, good eyesight for charting and airway work, and the ability to hear vital sounds. The role requires functioning well under stress and adjusting to shifting conditions, and it demands strict confidentiality.
Pay is listed at $90.00 to $140.00, with actual compensation based on experience, education, certifications, training, skills, and competencies. The role may be eligible for the annual incentive program depending on its classification. Benefits include paid time off, a 401(k) match, and health, dental, and vision coverage options, with full details available on the employer's benefits page. Reasonable accommodations are available on request.
