Full details

The schedule is 8-hour shifts. This locum tenens opening in Texas is for a board-certified Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist on a six-month assignment, with the possibility of extending, and the start can happen once credentialing is complete. The preferred pattern runs on weekdays only, Tuesday through Friday, and it is a day-based schedule rather than nights or weekends.

The practice works under a supervised anesthesia model. Anticipated case types include orthopedics, general surgery, gynecology, pain management, and urology. The successful candidate would also cross-credential at two surgery centers, and the EMR system in use is Cerner alongside paper charting. The employer states that local providers are preferred.

Required credentials are board certification along with BLS and PALS, and the candidate must be willing to complete cross-credentialing. Applicants should be prepared to supply a current CV, their availability, an anticipated start date, and any requested time off. Credentialing typically takes about 90 days, though temporary privileges may be requested to speed up the start.
