Full details

The schedule is 8-hour shifts. This per diem opening is a midshift role for a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist at Cedars-Sinai, a hospital that reports its sixth consecutive Magnet designation for nursing excellence and is recognized by U.S. News & World Report as one of America's Best Hospitals. The organization is expanding its anesthesia services and is looking to add to a team of more than 150 members who deliver care across a range of clinical settings. Anesthetists here work within a care team model in a growing department that emphasizes collaboration, innovative compassionate patient care, and opportunities for teaching and mentorship.

Within the scope of their delineated clinical privileges, the CRNA performs safe anesthesia care. Responsibilities include assessing and evaluating patients before surgery, helping develop and carry out each anesthesia care plan, and providing follow-up evaluation and care after anesthesia.

Candidates should hold a master's degree in nursing, with a doctorate in nurse anesthesia practice preferred. Required licensure includes a California registered nurse license and a California CRNA license, along with certification as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist from the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists. Applicants also need Advanced Cardiac Life Support and Pediatric Advanced Life Support certification from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association, and at least one year of experience working as a CRNA.
