Full details

The schedule is 12-hour shifts. This opening places a CRNA at a leading academic medical center and Level I Trauma Center in California, where the anesthesia team is growing. The position gives the nurse anesthetist a chance to work at a high level of practice with a varied and complex patient population spanning many surgical specialties. The anesthesia group includes more than 150 providers who operate as a care team, with CRNAs seen as clinical partners whose skill, collaboration and compassion shape patient results.

Candidates should hold a master's degree in nursing, with a doctorate in nurse anesthesia practice viewed favorably. A current California registered nurse license and a CRNA license are required, along with certification from the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists. Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification from the American Red Cross or the American Heart Association is also needed. One year of experience working as a CRNA is preferred.
