Full details

The schedule is 10-hour shifts. Cedars-Sinai, a leading academic medical center and Level I Trauma Center, is seeking a CRNA to deliver anesthesia across a wide range of surgical specialties to a diverse and complex patient population. The hospital is expanding its anesthesia services and the role places the CRNA within a team of more than 150 anesthesia providers, working as a valued clinical partner in a care team model.

Beyond bedside work, the position encourages growth as a leader, educator, and advocate for the profession. CRNAs may precept student registered nurse anesthetists, take part in quality improvement and patient safety efforts, join peer review and professional practice activities, sit on the Advanced Practice Council or other interdisciplinary committees, and attend Grand Rounds, journal clubs, case conferences, and continuing education programs.

Day-to-day responsibilities include completing thorough pre-anesthesia assessments, building individualized anesthesia plans with the wider anesthesia team, and providing care across varied procedural and surgical settings. The CRNA monitors patients through the entire perioperative period, reacts to shifting clinical conditions, and provides post-anesthesia evaluation and follow-up, all within delineated clinical privileges.

Qualifications include a California registered nurse license and a California CRNA license, along with certification as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist from the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists and current ACLS through the American Red Cross or American Heart Association. A master's degree in nursing is preferred, a doctorate in nurse anesthesia practice is also preferred, and one year of experience as a CRNA is preferred.

The position is part-time with daytime hours and includes a $5,000 hiring incentive.
