Somnia Anesthesia, a clinician-led and physician-owned group, is recruiting per diem CRNAs for its care team model at Lehigh Valley Hospital Hazleton in Hazleton, Pennsylvania. The per diem rate is $210 per hour, and medical malpractice coverage is provided.

The hospital has 4 operating rooms and 150 beds, is a Level 4 trauma center, and includes a Level 1 NICU. Two rooms run 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. and two run 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., with roughly 2,600 cases a year. The case mix centers on general, orthopedic, and urologic surgery, along with obstetrics, which accounts for about 500 deliveries. Cardiac, neurologic, head, trauma, and pediatric cases are excluded. Candidates need an active Pennsylvania license, board certification, and current ACLS, PALS, and BLS credentials.

Hazleton sits in the foothills of the Poconos, with outdoor recreation nearby and easy access to Interstates 80 and 81. Scranton and Wilkes-Barre are under an hour away, and New York City and Philadelphia are within reach.
