Somnia Anesthesia, a clinician-led and physician-owned anesthesia group, is recruiting CRNAs for a per diem role at Hazleton Surgery Center in Hazleton, Pennsylvania. The position pays $200 per hour and includes malpractice coverage. Shifts run eight hours per day and begin at 6:30 am.

The ambulatory surgery center handles about 2,500 cases a year, roughly 1,500 GI procedures and 1,000 surgical cases. The case mix covers general surgery, GI, gynecology, ophthalmology, orthopedics, pain management, and ENT. Each day the CRNA would staff one or two operating rooms. Physicians from the hospital rotate through the center and supervise the CRNAs.

Candidates need an active Pennsylvania license and board certification, along with ACLS, PALS, and BLS credentials. The surrounding town of Hazleton sits in the Pocono foothills near Interstates 80 and 81, offering outdoor recreation and access to New York City and Philadelphia.
