Full details

Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System in Spartanburg, South Carolina is recruiting full-time Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists to join its collegial anesthesia team. Candidates must have graduated from an accredited nurse anesthesia program. The role is structured to be free of call, nights, and weekends, with a dedicated call team covering overnight and weekend needs, and offers a range of schedule options along with eight weeks of time off.

New hires complete a four to six week mentorship and orientation period. The system serves as a teaching site for four nurse anesthesia programs, so providers may have the chance to teach or mentor student registered nurse anesthetists. The anesthesia care team includes roughly 34 anesthesiologists and about 100 CAAs and CRNAs covering the OR, endoscopy, cath lab, labor and delivery, MRI, and interventional radiology, supported by anesthesia technicians.

Case mix varies across four facilities, from a Level 1 trauma center with a state-of-the-art 25-room OR to a five-room community hospital. The system performs no transplant or burn cases, includes some healthy pediatric and limited NICU cases, and the Church Street campus logs more than 19,000 cases a year. The organization uses the EPIC electronic medical record and is an approved PSLF employer.

Benefits include health insurance beginning on the date of hire, paid malpractice coverage that includes tail coverage, paid parental leave, and $3,500 in annual CME funds. Recruitment incentives include student loan forgiveness of up to $50,000, a $50,000 sign-on bonus, and paid relocation assistance.

The Upstate location sits about an hour from the Blue Ridge Mountains and roughly three hours from the coast, with moderately priced housing, numerous educational options, and easy commuting.
