The role involves giving intravenous, inhalation, and regional anesthesia to keep patients free of pain during surgery, obstetrical deliveries, and other medical or dental procedures. The surgery centers handle a broad mix of cases, including joint replacements, plastic, sports medicine, orthopedic, urology, gynecologic, ophthalmic, podiatric, dental, pediatric, endoscopic, and general surgery. The ambulatory division includes more than 40 CRNAs and 10 senior staff physicians who deliver fast-paced care.

Candidates need a current Michigan RN license, NBCRNA certification as a CRNA, and a master's or doctoral degree from an accredited nurse anesthesia program. Strong clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills are expected, along with the ability to collaborate well with anesthesiologists and other health care providers. Required credentials also include clinical privileges, a state specialty certification, and ALS, BLS, and PALS certifications.

Benefits include a competitive salary, family-building support such as paid parental leave, adoption assistance, donor assistance, and fertility coverage, and a 403(b) retirement plan with a 3.5% salary match.
