The CRNA Manager role is based at the Rochester campus of Henry Ford Rochester Hospital in Rochester, Michigan, a historic Oakland County community. The site handles high-volume operating room work, including open heart cases, plus obstetrics, the cath lab, interventional radiology, MRI and endoscopy.

The manager is responsible for safe anesthetic care in the operating room and across the hospital. The position involves directing and organizing staff activities to keep the unit running efficiently, providing hands-on unit leadership, and collaborating with physicians, nurses and other clinicians. The goal is to build a strong practice environment that supports nurse anesthesia and improves patient outcomes. The manager also works to strengthen communication and feedback within the team and accepts organizational accountability for the services delivered.

Candidates should hold a master's degree in anesthesiology or nursing and have three to five years of increasingly responsible clinical leadership. Required credentials include current CRNA certification from the NBCRNA, a current Michigan registered nurse license, and a current Michigan specialty license to practice as a CRNA. Membership in the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists is also required.
