The compensation listed is a base salary of $168.27 per pay period, described as $350k annually. Travel and lodging reimbursement is available. Staff may also take advantage of retirement savings through a 401(k) with profit sharing, fully paid malpractice coverage, and possible loan repayment and training assistance.
Benefits include medical, life, vision, and dental coverage along with disability and accidental death and dismemberment protection, plus flexible spending and health savings account options and a generous allotment of paid time off.
Scheduling may involve up to two calls per month, with additional voluntary calls paid at a pager rate of $500 per call. Call length depends on the site and may run 8, 12, 16, or 24 hours. Responsibilities include delivering full anesthesia care across a wide range of surgical procedures, completing pre-anesthesia evaluations, obtaining informed consent, and planning anesthetic approaches with patients. The CRNA manages induction, maintenance, and emergence, monitors patients' physiological status and intervenes as needed, and contributes to departmental coordination and clinical leadership.
