UMass Memorial Health is hiring full-time Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists for its Department of Anesthesiology & Perioperative Medicine in Worcester, Massachusetts. The posted hiring range runs from $172,785.60 to $311,022.40, with the final offer depending on experience, skills, qualifications and internal equity. CRNAs in this group work as integrated members of the anesthesia care team and are expected to practice at the top of their license. Responsibilities include completing pre-anesthetic evaluations, building anesthesia care plans, delivering and monitoring anesthesia during procedures, and providing post-anesthesia recovery care and pain management. The caseload is broad, spanning general surgery, orthopedics, gastroenterology, obstetrics, pediatrics and cardiac cases, and assignments can be in ambulatory, inpatient or procedural areas. The operating rooms and anesthesia equipment are described as state of the art.

Candidates should be graduates of an accredited nurse anesthesia program and hold or be eligible for CRNA certification. Eligibility for Massachusetts licensure is also required.

Scheduling options include 10, 12, 14, 16 and 24-hour shifts across days, evenings, weekends and overnights, and both full-time and part-time roles are available.
