UMass Memorial Medical Group's Department of Anesthesiology & Perioperative Medicine in Worcester, MA is recruiting full-time Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists to work within its collaborative anesthesia team. The group's nurse anesthetists practice to the full extent of their licenses as respected, fully integrated colleagues on the care team.

Responsibilities include evaluating patients before surgery, creating anesthesia plans, delivering anesthesia and monitoring patients during procedures, and providing care and pain control after surgery. The caseload is broad and spans general surgery, orthopedics, gastrointestinal, obstetrics, pediatrics, cardiac and other specialties. Assignments may be in ambulatory, inpatient or procedural areas, using modern operating rooms and anesthesia equipment.

Candidates should be graduates of an accredited nurse anesthesia program and hold CRNA certification or be eligible to sit for it, and they must be eligible for Massachusetts licensure.

Compensation is advertised with a hiring range of $172,785.60 to $311,022.40, with the final offer dependent on experience, skills, qualifications and internal equity. The posting also cites a starting salary of up to $331,000, defined as total pay based on experience and on-call participation. Other benefits include a loan repayment program of up to $100,000 or a sign-on bonus option, a $2,500 annual CME/practice allowance, and eight or more weeks of combined vacation, CME and holiday time.
