Full details

A 117-bed, not-for-profit acute care hospital in Eastern North Carolina is recruiting a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist to join its anesthesia practice. The hospital works to improve community health and is part of the Vidant Health system, which gives patients access to advanced services from an academic medical center. The CRNA would administer anesthesia across all types of procedures, including obstetric cases and any other areas where anesthesia care is needed.

The position covers both inpatient and outpatient work. The regular schedule runs Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM and totals 32 hours per week over four days. Call is six shifts per month and is shared with the current CRNAs. Moonlighting opportunities are available. The role is salaried, and the practice uses the EPIC electronic health record.

Candidates must hold current certification as a registered nurse anesthetist, or show that they have applied to sit for the CRNA boards if they are new graduates. Recruitment incentives include a sign-on bonus and relocation assistance.

The community sits in a historic setting in Eastern North Carolina and combines a relaxed, small-town atmosphere with historic districts, a town common, and recreation such as golf, water sports, and the arts. It is about 30 minutes from Greenville, one hour from Raleigh and the Research Triangle Park, and two hours from the North Carolina beaches.
