Full details

A leading New England health system is looking for experienced locum CRNAs to cover high-acuity work across multiple sites in central Massachusetts, with the assignment starting September 1, 2025. The arrangement is built around flexibility, with 12-, 16-, 18-, or 24-hour shift options, a 24/7 model, and start and stop times that the provider can set. No call duties are included.

The practice combines an academic center with community and obstetric sites. Case mix includes trauma, transplant, ENT, neurology, orthopedics, obstetrics, and cardiac cases. Charting is done in EPIC. Credentialing is handled in two tracks: a streamlined process for the main hospital and a separate one for the ambulatory sites.

Compensation is set as top-tier 1099 rates based on experience and availability. Lodging (hotel or Airbnb), travel and mileage, car rental, and malpractice coverage (rated A+) are all paid. All-inclusive rate packages are also available for simpler billing. The employer notes access to Independent Contractors Benefits Association resources.

Candidates need NBCRNA certification, an active license or the ability to obtain one in Massachusetts, and two professional references. The role requires a flexible schedule and a willingness to float between sites. Early applicants are prioritized, since credentialing is already underway and fall 2025 shifts are being filled.
