Full details

The role is a locum CRNA position in Worcester, Massachusetts, and candidates must be willing to work across both the University and Memorial campuses. Endoscopy-only or surgery-center-only assignments will not be considered. At least one year of CRNA work experience is required, and providers with or without an active Massachusetts license may apply.

The anesthesia department brings together roughly 160 providers across seven clinical sites, which include three hospitals, two ambulatory surgery centers, and two GI/endoscopy centers. Facilities named include the University Campus (a Level 1 trauma center), the Memorial Campus (general and obstetrics), the Hahnemann Campus (general), an ambulatory surgery center in Shrewsbury, and additional Marlborough and endoscopy locations. Operating room counts range from 8 to 16 per site, with usually 8 to 12 CRNAs working at the same time.

CRNAs in this practice work under medical supervision, and no anesthesia assistants are used. Regional anesthesia is handled by physicians rather than CRNAs. The position carries no call responsibilities. NBCRNA certification and board certification are both required.

Scheduling is flexible, with adjustable start and end times and a 24/7 coverage model. Shift formats offered span several lengths, so the exact arrangement is set out in the posting's schedule fields.

Cases cover a wide range of surgical specialties, including transplant, ENT, trauma, neurosurgery, cardiac, and orthopedics. CRNAs join a large, collaborative anesthesia team and work in EPIC.
