Full details
A private, community-based hospital in North Carolina is seeking permanent CRNAs, with a start targeted for the beginning of the year. The position is a full-time, hospital-employed role with a W-2 arrangement and a flexible schedule that can combine 5-hour, 8-hour, 10-hour and 12-hour shifts.
The work takes place in a fast-paced environment with an emphasis on efficient operating room turnovers. The practice follows a care team model, but CRNAs are given a good degree of autonomy. Anesthesia cases span a wide range of patients of all ages and ASA classes, including general, orthopedic, obstetric cesarean, gynecologic, vascular, neurologic, robotic, gastrointestinal, bronchoscopy and low-volume pediatric procedures.
The compensation package includes a starting base of $210,000 for new graduates, along with additional pay for off-shift work and for coverage at the group's secondary locations. The benefits are described as competitive and cover health, dental and long-term disability insurance, plus a 401(k) safe harbor contribution, all fully paid by the group. A $60,000 loan repayment or $40,000 sign-on bonus is offered, together with a $10,000 relocation stipend.
