Full details

Henrico Doctors' Hospital in Richmond, Virginia is seeking a CRNA. The hospital was recently designated a Level II Trauma Center and is experiencing growth in obstetric and surgical volume. The 340-bed community facility runs round-the-clock pediatric and adult emergency services and hosts a robotic surgery institute, a heart center, a cancer institute, a primary stroke center, a women's hospital, and a kidney-focused transplant center. The same local anesthesia group has served the hospital since it opened more than 40 years ago, and it joined NAPA in 2014 and also covers two sister hospitals and five ambulatory surgical centers.

The position is full time with flexible shift options and no call taking. Case assignments span general, obstetric, cardiac, pediatric, orthopedic, endoscopic, and gynecologic surgery. Duties include delivering full anesthesia care across these procedures, completing pre-anesthesia assessments and securing informed consent, building and reviewing anesthetic plans with patients, managing induction, maintenance, and recovery from anesthesia, monitoring physiological status and intervening as required, and contributing to department coordination and clinical leadership.

Compensation is listed as a base salary of $244K to $278K, with a call stipend available and sign-on incentives of $75K. The benefits package covers medical, life, vision, dental, disability, and accidental death coverage, generous time off, flexible spending and health savings accounts, a 401(k) with profit sharing, fully paid malpractice coverage, and assistance with loan repayment and training costs.

Candidates need a current registered professional nursing license, graduation from an accredited nurse anesthesia program, and certification or recertification through the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists.
