Full details

This full-time CRNA role is based at Bon Secours Southside Medical Center in Petersburg, Virginia. The campus includes three professional schools and seven satellite outpatient centers across the Greater Richmond area, and the facility is a 300-bed community hospital on a 50-acre campus with more than 1,400 healthcare staff and 400 physicians spanning over 40 specialties. It houses the only Trauma Center in the Tri-Cities and southern Virginia.

The practice works within a collaborative care team model that emphasizes giving every member a voice while supporting one another and pursuing high-quality patient care. The anesthesia caseload spans OB, general, GYN, endoscopy, and orthopedic procedures, along with central and arterial line placement, neuro cases, peripheral nerve blocks, spinal and epidural techniques, and routine work.

Responsibilities include delivering full anesthesia care across surgical cases, completing pre-anesthesia assessments and securing informed consent, and building anesthetic plans in collaboration with patients. The CRNA manages induction, maintenance, and emergence, tracks patient physiology and intervenes when necessary, and contributes to departmental coordination and clinical leadership.

Candidates need a current registered professional nursing license, a diploma from an accredited nurse anesthesia program, and current certification or recertification through the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists.

Compensation is listed as a salary of $300K-$325K with a $70K sign-on incentive. The package also covers medical, life, vision, and dental coverage, disability and AD&D protection, generous paid time off, flexible spending and health savings account options, fully paid malpractice coverage, and available loan repayment and training assistance.
